Apprentice Customer Service Representative

What you'll do

Working as a Customer Service Representative you’ll answer inbound calls from our customers and help them with their everyday banking requests such as: • Paying bills • Setting up a standing order • Opening a savings and other relevant account • And much more • By building rapport and listening to our customers’ needs you’ll be able to identify which products and services are right for them. Apprentice requirements:

• Must be clear and confident speaking on the telephone, adopting a professional and friendly approach • Be an excellent communicator • Have experience of dealing with customers, this could be through paid or voluntary roles • Be willing and eager to learn with a self-motivated and target driven attitude • A team player who is positive, enthusiastic and has the ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers alike • Maths and English GCSE grade A-C or equivalent • Ability to work a variety of shift patterns including late evenings, weekends and early starts • Must be available 8:30am - 4pm Mon – Fri in the first 5 weeks to attend a comprehensive induction training programme • Please note this is not an entry level position. You‘ll be working in a high pressured, constantly evolving role with regular performance measures
